5 Questions with Ava

Q1: Tell us, why did you decide to join the EVE team?

A: I decided to join the EVE team because I am passionate about sustainability and lowering global greenhouse gas emissions. I believe that electric vehicles are one of many solutions to achieving these goals, and I am excited to be part of a company that is contributing to this industry.

Q2: What is one major difference you have noticed between the US and Europe in terms of sustainability and e-mobility?

A: One notable difference I have observed between the US and Europe regarding e-mobility is evident on college and university campuses. In the US, universities often maintain large vehicle fleets, presenting an opportunity for expanding electric vehicle infrastructure.

Q3: What are you most excited about when it comes to your work at EVE?

A: I am most excited about the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable future through my work at EVE. By helping clients transition to electric vehicles, I can support their efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental stewardship. Additionally, I look forward to collaborating with a passionate team dedicated to innovative solutions in the electric vehicle industry.

Q4: Tell us one sustainability tip that you have adopted in your personal life.

A: One sustainability tip I have adopted into my personal life is eliminating single-use plastics from my purchases. This practice not only reduces waste but encourages a more sustainable lifestyle.

Q5: If you could invite three people (alive, dead, or fictional) to a dinner party, who would it be?

A: I would first invite Robin Wall Kimmerer for her insights into the intersection of Indigenous wisdom and environmental science, offering valuable perspectives on sustainable practices and our interconnectedness with the natural world. Mahatma Gandhi would be another esteemed guest, celebrated for his commitment to social justice and nonviolence. Lastly, I would invite Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, for his innovative thinking and ability to push the boundaries of technology. His creative ingenuity and technological savvy would bring a unique dimension to discussions on solving complex environmental challenges.
