Elektra has just launched their first Web3 Analyst cohort!

We have brought together an incredible cohort with a range of incredible and different backgrounds ranging from VC, private equity, trading, founders, and more so much more.

With only three weeks in this is what we have accomplished thus far:

• 5+ Workshops on topics variying from blockchain basics to SBTs hosted by the likes of Buildspace, Blockchain Founders Fund, Ethereum Foundation!
• 2 weekly interactive discussion calls on blockchain fundamentals.
• 30+ Web3 start-ups sourced by our analysts
• Weekly check-ups analysing white papers from the likes of Aave, SBT in groups for help and support.
• Several in-person events hosted bi-weekly for the cohort to expand their own network.

Meet our incredible cohort members :

Rockman Law

Venture Partner at Ada Ventures, angel investor and a recovering founder. Previously worked at Ascension, an early stage generalist fund and Motion Ventures, a pre-Series A fund investing in the maritime value chain. He’s also a Future VC alumni. Prior to VC, Rockman co-founded a venture-backed cyber security start-up and originally trained as an engineer.

Tania Hoeding

VC Investor at Prosus Ventures focusing on Series A / B in the EMEA region. Previously worked at Apollo and JP Morgan before deciding to move into an early-stage investor position.

Sara Schein

Sara is from Stockholm and she is currently a VC analyst at Hambro Perks in London covering the digital health, fintech, B2B SaaS and consumer industries. She studied business management at Warwick University and then a master’s in management at London Business School. She has previously worked in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs, for a fashion start-up called Cult Mia and in management consulting.

John Galagong

Investment associate at corporate venture capital Channel 4 Ventures. They invest Channel 4 advertising space in exchange for equity into consumer-facing start-ups. Previously a strategy consultant with 5 years experience in corporate strategy and commercial diligence for large corporates and private equity investors.

Isha Maggu

Currently, a product designer at Founders Factory actively working on building web3 businesses. Before this, Isha worked at Accenture with several clients, freelanced, had a stint at a healthcare startup, and took a career break to do a master’s in Human-Computer Interaction. In terms of Isha’s background, she’s originally from India, was born and raised in the Czech Republic, and has lived in London for the last decade.

Jounghyun Shim

Investor at Samos Investments, founder and CEO at Shimentor. Excited about all things Web3.

Cecilia Zhao

Venture & Growth Investor at Kinnevik Capital.

Alexandru-Iulian Iurea

Recent graduate in Computing Technologies with a strong interest in Blockchain technology. Alexandru’s journey in this space dates back to the end of 2017 when he discovered what he considers to be 3 of the most important values of any system, decentralisation, security and performance, being combined to generate enhanced solutions.

Yash Mundada

Yash is currently studying at BITS Pilani in India and has lived in the UK for the past 15 years. He is very keen to learn about the web3 space and its rapid development over such a small time frame.

Ellen Tang

Ellen has extensive experience in the traditional finance space, ranging across Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Audit, and Risk business areas. She has been taking an interest and investing in various blockchain projects since 2017. Ellen also runs a Personal Development Coaching practice and posts investment-related videos on my YouTube channel Investing With Ellen.

Ishaan Oza

Recent physics graduate and Web3 enthusiast with experience in GameFi. Ishaan is particularly fascinated by the roles blockchain can play in the daily lives of people, notably in areas such as medicine, finance and authenticating goods, however, he is eager to learn as much about the entire space as possible.

Esha Vatsa

VC Investor at Forward Partners, investing across all sectors with a focus on applied AI and Web 3.

Yuliya Prokopyshyn

Yuliya is a blockchain solicitor at Stephenson Law. She helps established businesses and start-ups engage, implement, and understand the potential of blockchain technology. Originally from Ukraine, she’s passionate about diversifying the Web3 space and making it accessible to everyone.

Chana Bodner

Studied Accounting, with a focus on financial management and performance management. Chana has experience in finance roles, including an internship and a fellowship in VC.

Medy Ract

Medy is a strategy and innovation consultant who spent his early career in growth strategy for a tech start-up and transitioned to strategy consulting for large financial services, healthcare and retail clients. Fuelled by imagination but grounded in reality, he brings a unique experience and approach blending the commercial rigour of a business consultant, the growth-driven mindset of an entrepreneur and structured execution of an engineer.

Marco Lucchesini

An entrepreneur at heart, keen to bring Web3 technology in the life of everyone.

Joe Jordan

Currently a VC analyst at Supernode Global — a seed-stage fund focusing on the digital content economy. Prior to joining Supernode, Joe co-founded an on-demand job platform for students and employers in the hospitality industry. Love sports, music and startups!

Charles Martin

Investor at Kinnevik with past experience in banking and as a founder. Passionate about empowering founders, having built OnChain (a web3 founders community) and FounderTribes (a web2 investment platform for founders).

Ved Luhana

University of Bath student and intern at Bitpanda. Ved has learnt how smart contracts for interest rate protocols are built and read through one too many whitepapers. Through his experiences within Bitpanda and setting up his own angel syndicate fund, he has found a passion for Web3 VC.

Victoria Lebegue

Currently an investor at Cell Capital, but has previously also worked at Concrete Ventures, Finch Capital, VentureOut.
