Take a look at South Korea’s
South Korea’s ppalli-ppalli culture focuses on speed. The effect? They have world-leading internet speeds, intensive language classes promising near-immediate results and even popular speed-dating events. Even McDonald’s assembled a fleet of delivery scooters in South Korea with ppalli-ppalli stickers.
Could ppalli-ppalli be optimally utilised in a start-up environment? If yes, how can you do it?
- Start with getting your team onboard with the idea.
- Set roles, goals and deadlines.
- Get organized with a team/project management tool like Monday or Wrike or Slack.
- Focus everyday on deliverables. NOT half of the deliverable but things that can be ticked off in a checklist.
- Create templates for projects such as E-mailers that can be optimized through platforms like MailChimp.
- Introduce methodolgies such as Scrum for smaller teams. Assign a Scrum Master.
- Make Plan B’s incase of absenteeism or external factors such as client requests.
- Optimize work hours to best fit your team’s needs.
- Make it fun. Add a gamification element with scores, rewards or a team party at the finish line.
Ready? Set. Go!
