Emil Chan, advisor of Elevate and Chairman of the FinTech Committee, moderated a panel that took a closer look at the Hong Kong blockchain ecosystem and the future of FinTech in the region
Hong Kong is currently one of the world’s leading hubs for FinTech and has taken a lead in taking major steps in fostering a decentralized ecosystem across the region.
At the 2019 Smart City Consortium (SCC) Annual CNY party, Emil Chan, Advisor of Elevate Ventures and Chairman of FinTech Committee of SCC, moderated a panel that took a closer look at the blockchain ecosystem’s journey in Hong Kong and the necessary steps to be taken to further advance its goals.
Speaking on the panel were: Peter Koo, Partner at Deloitte China Hong Kong; Frankie Tam, International Technology Lawyer, DLA Piper; and Thomas Cheung, Chairman of Blockchain Development Association.
