111 Book Review: The Three-Body Problem (三体)
The Three-Body Problem (三体)
by Liu Cixin (Translated by Ken Liu)
Imagine that you’re so fed up with humanity that you invite a hostile alien species to invade earth and destroy everything and that even when given a chance to renege on your invite, you double down and re-invite aforementioned alien species to invade earth and destroy everything, and then imagine that you regret it later but the aliens are already on their way and they’ll arrive in about 400 years but literally no one will ever mention your name after you’re dead even though it’s public knowledge that you’re the one who invited a hostile alien species to invade earth and destroy everything (twice).
You’re imagining this (actually pretty good) book.
TL;DR: Communism is apparently so bad that it’s better to invite aliens to invade earth and destroy everything(?)
My rating: 9 out of 11 (Problematic) Bodies

Oh, you liked it? Well, then, try: The Dark Forest (next in the series), Ender’s Game (for triple the alien invasion value)
