This may sound silly, but if you ask me what makes a great team, I would say persistence. Persistence is staying firm — in your opinions and courses of action in spite of the difficulties or opposition you encounter. Companies that have experienced real ups and downs will understand what I mean. Especially those few public crowdsale projects that are still alive and going no matter what. Persistence is also an art that changes your mindset when dealing with daily tasks and obstacles in life. Someone once said: You just can’t beat the person who never gives up. Be that person.

Before we move on to this great update, I would like to tell you a bit about “who we are” at Eligma.

We’re the rebels! The nice ones. The ones that don’t accept stagnation and status quo for an answer, except for the band, they are quite good actually. Rebels with organised paperwork and almost spotless desks, almost.

Regulations are something that we strictly follow. We make no compromises when it comes to security and privacy. But rebels on a mission when it comes to pushing technology to work for the people. Our users. For those who are losing their paychecks and life savings as inflation eats into the value of their currency. For those who need to wait for months before their money can reach their families and for all those annoyed by high banking fees, transaction costs and provisions.

We’re here for the people. We are changing finance and payments so everyone can win. We’re building a payment network to help people get paid seamlessly. We strongly believe in building solutions where cryptocurrencies meet cash. Where merchants can set prices in their local currency as they always have, while enabling direct crypto payments to their customers and getting paid in their preferred currency. Everyone gets the best of both worlds, and we take great care that this happens securely, instantly, and without hassle for any participant.

We’re the elephant in the room — in the good sense of the word. We’re building a payment network strong as an elephant, a payment solution friendly as an elephant, a business forthcoming and transparent as an elephant, and a company culture as open and grounded.

We’re Eligma.

It’s no longer a secret that there are a few huge milestones connected with this update. Here they are in bullet points:

1. Eligma signed a new round of investment in the amount of 4 million EUR from Bitcoin.com and Pangea Blockchain Fund.

2. Roger Ver is becoming a board member of Eligma.

3. The ELI token will be integrated into the Bitcoin.com Wallet and probably renamed the GoCrypto (GOC) token.

4. The ELI token will be listed on the Bitcoin.com exchange.

5. The ELI token will shift from ETH blockchain to BCH blockchain.

6. Eligma is increasingly moving towards being the global facilitator of seamless and secure crypto payments. In this, we utilise blockchain technology to establish communication standards for crypto payment networks.

7. We will put in even more resources to continue building our merchant infrastructure, which we will rename GoCrypto(.com). With GoCrypto, we will continue the establishment of global standards for crypto payments.

8. The Elipay app will be transformed into Elly(.com) — a multifunctional wallet with the exchange feature.

9. Eligma is opening a new market connected with a higher inflation rate but very much connected to Europe — Turkey.

10. Slowly but surely, Eligma is becoming a stable and well-organised company. There is no running away from the fact that our focus is changing slightly, but the roadmap will explain it all.

We will gradually release a detailed description of each bullet point above because otherwise, this report would be too long.

Today, let us have a look at Bullet no.1.

Yes, it’s true. Eligma has just signed an investment deal with Bitcoin.com and Pangea Blockchain Fund. We doubled the valuation of our company in the last 16 months.

I met Roger Ver from Bitcoin.com at Delta Summit Malta in 2018. I first looked very closely at who he is and what he does, and was more than surprised. He was a very humble guy with a backpack, stopping everyone he could to give them some BCH to use the Bitcoin.com Wallet. He was unstoppable. At that time, he had no idea that there was a company that implemented BCH as a payment option in its entire merchant network, using the Elipay wallet. As soon as I approached Roger, he was installing my Bitcoin.com Wallet and transferring some BCH to it for me to try it out. As a salesperson, I couldn’t help but love it. People as humble as Roger and CZ are a rare find. They talk to their users, promote their beliefs and are not greedy. Of course, I knew the story between BTC and BCH, but when looking at it from a merchant standpoint and from the business perspective we come from, I could immediately see that BCH is a better option for crypto payments. The payment is instant, from a non-custodial wallet, with simple registration and no hassle. Roger made a great impression on me and we gradually became friends. Today, I’m happier than ever because he is joining our company and helping us on the mission to change the financial industry forever.

Stefan Rust, the newly appointed CEO of Bitcoin.com, introduced me to an interesting team from Switzerland that understands why blockchain is the future of tech and looks for companies that have the potential to create it. Pangea Blockchain Fund is a company that impressed me with its mixture of the young and the mature as well as with its plans for the future. They are true professionals, fast and reliable. Their connections and understanding of the business are something that will help us to reach our milestones faster!

Maybe some last words on what our new shareholders are well aware of and would be good to again emphasize to the Eligma community as well. Don’t join us if you do not plan to be with us for the long run. Don’t join us if you are not a 100% believer in what we are building. Don’t join us if you are not ready to help us. Only join us if you are persistent.
