The migration of ELI, our former native ERC-20 token, into the GoCrypto (GoC) token, running on the SLP protocol, finished on 31 May 2020 after a six-month migration period. 85.83% of the tokens were successfully migrated. For all the relevant statistics in one place, click here.

Today, 28 August 2020, the GoC tokens intended for migration that were left unmigrated were burned. This was 28,806,275 GoC in total. The burning took place in the form of a single “burn” method transaction that immobilized these tokens permanently. Therefore, this amount of tokens is now excluded from the circulation.

GoC is supported by Elly.com and the Bitcoin.com Wallet. It can be used for payments at GoCrypto, and can also be integrated into B2B processes, merchant settlement as well as other loyalty programs and incentives. For this reason, the migration to the Bitcoin Cash (SLP) blockchain made a lot of sense as it is faster and cheaper for the GoC user.

The GoC token is available at the Bitcoin Exchange and at tokens.net. Of course, you can also purchase them in our native Elly wallet. When you pay with the Elly wallet at any of the GoCrypto locations, you will also be rewarded with up to 2% token-back in the GoC currency.
