ELI is now a mainstream utility token!
Six months after the public crowdsale, the Eligma company realized its promise to prove the utility of the ELI token. Elipay, Eligma’s solution for shopping with crypto at online and offline stores with a mobile app, was launched on the market about two months ago. We are proud to report that it met with an extremely good response. Elipay is now accepted at more than 200 locations all over Slovenia, enabling purchases with three selected cryptocurrencies. Today, these were joined by the ELI token!
ELI plays a central role in the introduction of the Loyalty and Referral Program in Elipay. The aim of the program is to reward Elipay users with ELIs for every purchase made with Elipay. Here are the benefits:
· Earn automatically with every purchase: Your every purchase with Elipay will be automatically rewarded with 1% purchase value token back in ELIs into your Elipay wallet. But this is not all — you can receive 2% altogether:
· Track what you buy — and get rewarded: Take a photo of the receipt after making a purchase with Elipay and upload it into your Elipay user account. You will receive an extra 0.5% of the purchase value in ELIs!
· Rate and cash in: If you (i) rate your shopping experience or (ii) answer a question set in the Elipay app after photographing the receipt as stated above, you will receive an extra 0.5% of the purchase value in ELIs!
The most important news, however, is that ELIs can be used at all food and drink providers accepting Elipay, which will be gradually followed by all Elipay locations. With this, we realize our promise to prove the utility of our token for commerce in general.
With the future integration of credit / debit cards into Elipay, our aim to make easy mobile payments universal will be one step closer to reality. In this way, the ELI token will also be earned and used by fiat payers regardless whether they are already familiar with them or not.
