Eligma and Amazon on the same stage in Zurich, Switzerland
ActionJam, Swiss Corporate Innovation Network, is an association established by innovation management professionals of major Swiss companies for the purpose of learning and connecting. Its activities include matching young start-ups with renowned companies in their fields, and frequent educational opportunities. This year’s autumn event, ActionJam Herbstevent 2018, brought together examples of good ecosystem practices. Eligma was invited to participate as a game-changer in blockchain development for commerce, marked by an extremely fast growth in terms of locations accepting cryptocurrencies as an instant and highly user-friendly means of payment.
Eligma CEO Dejan Roljic delivered a dynamic presentation, in which he highlighted the innovations of the Eligma company and advantages of blockchain technology for a variety of fields. He also participated in a panel discussion together with Jim Fanning (Amazon), Manuel Linder (Spoud) & Dave Studer (Scout24). The central message of the event, full of audience questions and debate, was that today’s technology development should entail both competitive innovation as well as collaboration at an organized level, which results in a higher level of progress overall.
