Eligma becomes a founding partner of the Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association
We actively contribute to the development of blockchain and its promotion to the professional public in a variety of industries. Memberships in and partnerships with like-minded organizations extends the success and influence of everyone active in this direction. We are therefore proud to announce that Eligma has become a founding partner of the Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association.
The Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association is a non-profit dedicated to furthering the blockchain ecosystem in Switzerland and internationally. Not only does it support innovation in this sector, but also its academic research and studies due to the participation of renowned academic institutions.
Apart from Eligma, the founding members of the Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association include Bitcoin.com, Copernicus Holding SA, Euronovate SA, Eventboost SA, Pangea Blockchain Fund, Poseidon Group, Quadrans Foundation, StrongBlock.io, Superflat SA and Swiss Blockchain Consortium. There are two academic partners as well: the University of Southern Switzerland (USI) and the Innovative Technologies Department of the Information Systems and Networking Institute (SUPSI).
Giacomo Poretti, President of the Association and Senior Lecturer-researcher in SUPSI’s DTI Innovative Technologies Department, stated the following: “We are very pleased to have prestigious international companies among the members of the association able to drive innovation in this region together with partners already active in Ticino.”
