Eligma sends a strong contingent to the DELTA Summit conference

It is common knowledge that blockchain and cryptocurrencies are some of the hottest technologies at the moment and are gathering an enormous amount of attention not only among companies but also among countries trying to attract those companies.

The island of Malta is extremely active in this field, quickly adapting its laws and regulations to spark the interest of companies dealing with these cutting-edge technologies. One of the main steps is organising conferences focusing on these fields and DELTA Summit, held from 3rd to 5th October, is the biggest one.

It attracted more than 4,000 attendees in its first year and is set to become one of the biggest annual blockchain and cryptocurrency conferences in the world. It featured more than 170 speakers and with guests like founder and CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao, founder and CEO of Bitcoin.com Roger Ver, Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and even music star Imogen Heap, it certainly had no absence of star power.

Because of the different areas that Eligma’s platform encompasses, we decided to send experts from various fields to the conference, so company’s CEO Dejan Roljič, COO Žiga Toni, legal counsel Luka Planinc, CMO Mitja Jereb, program manager Sara Drašković and project lead Sašo Kuntarič boarded the plane to Malta. They used most of their time at the conference for networking, spreading the awareness about Eligma and finding business partners to help us expand our business. All in all, they attended over 50 individual meetings, made countless new connections and strengthened existing ones.
