Eligma shines at DELTA Summit as one of the hottest tech companies of the conference. GoCrypto!
With its fast development, blockchain is not just one of the most promising technologies of tomorrow. It is already used by a great variety of today’s business, commerce and administration domains. DELTA Summit is the official blockchain and digital innovation event in Malta, but has evolved into one of the world’s prime conferences of this kind.
DELTA Summit is a hotspot for visitors, speakers, regulators and businesses from across the globe. This year, the event more than fulfilled the expectations once again, announcing more than 10,000 visitors, over 200 speakers with individual presentations or panel discussions, and more than 100 companies exhibiting, including big crypto names like OKEx and Binance.
Last year, Eligma only attended Delta Summit as a visitor. This time around, however, we had an impressive attendance — 28 team members altogether! This was necessary for a very simple reason: we used DELTA Summit as the very first public presentation of the GoCrypto infrastructure and the Elly wallet after their rebranding. Eligma had as many as 8 stands, where we presented the products to each stand visitor — with a cup of the best (and only!) crypto coffee at the conference.
In the course of the event, we served more than 7,000 crypto coffees. Each time, we used that as an opportunity for a live presentation of how fast and effectively the GoCrypto infrastructure works both with (custodial) Elly and the (non-custodial) Bitcoin.com Wallet. We also distributed 500 Bitcoin.com golden tickets, one of which contained $500 in Bitcoin Cash for the lucky winner. And that was not all: we collected about 200 business cards, and also had over 100 individual meetings with crypto exchanges, crypto wallet providers, ERPs and regulators.
The extensive DELTA Summit speaker lineup included Eligma CEO Dejan Roljic, who was on stage as many as three times: as a speaker (High Inflation Markets transforming into Crypto Countries), panel moderator (Systems of trade and stores of value. What is the future of value generation? with James Song from Fleta, Kumar Gaurav from Cashaa, Dr. Terrence Cassar from GTG Advocates, Vincenzo Belpiede from Stellar Talents) and panelist (Nothing Cryptic about Crypto — Cryptocurrency and when will the Banks be adopting it with Maria Carola from Guarda, Przemysław Borecki from BitBay, Aoife from BiboxEurope, and moderator Felix Herrmann from Salamantex). On the first day of the conference, Roljic also attended an exclusive meeting with Maltese government representatives as well as major international blockchain businesses and exchanges.
Eligma achieved one more important feat in the scope of the activities surrounding DELTA Summit 2019: it was nominated for the Tech for a Better World Award 2019.
We took care that we were one of the most noticeable and best presented companies at the event, and received very positive feedback by some of the most important companies attending DELTA. All this, of course, would not have been possible without the excellent organization and global opportunity provided by the DELTA Summit.
