Dear Eligma friends, supporters and ambassadors!

Commerce is people, and people should always come first. There is no success without inspiring others, and the best part of our journey has been the realization that so many people see our efforts as worthwhile. Our community, which is becoming more and more numerous, showed trust in the Eligma product and team. Here are our final calculations: you have made an amazing contribution of 13,178 ETH. Thank you all for your trust and support!

We are glad that we are able to offer forward-looking ideas that met with such an amazing response, which shows that the crypto community is growing and that cryptocurrencies will soon become a permanent part of our daily lives. As some of you may have noticed, the initially communicated sum of contributions was higher than this final one. In the ELI private placement stage, a consortium of people has committed itself to purchase a 2,000 ETH worth of ELI tokens. However, some of the consortium participants were U.S. citizens, which is why their participation in the ELI token sale was subject to regulatory uncertainty. We have been working with a U.S.-based law firm in order to determine whether there is a lawful method for these participants to purchase ELI tokens. We have been advised to wait until the end of the crowdsale in case the regulatory uncertainty in the U.S. got clarified. As it remained uncertain, we refunded the entire ETH amount to the consortium yesterday, which effectively means we have sold a 13,178 ETH worth of ELI tokens (which amounts to 10,056,000 $ at the moment of returns) and not 15,178 ETH. These now unsold ELI tokens will be burned together with the remaining unsold ELI tokens. All the contributions have now been transfered into one wallet.

The Eligma token sale took place at a period when the market was experiencing severe fluctuations. Nevertheless, we kept our eyes on the target, the roadmap and the best interests of our community. As you know, the ETH price in the crowdsale was locked at 800 $ because of our belief that the market situation should not harm our early supporters and that it would eventually improve — and indeed it did. The unsold crypto tokens will be burnt. This is another decision with the aim that our community should be the most important in Eligma’s story. We are very proud that so many of you decided to join our token sale, that you come from all over the world and share our belief that current commerce is ready for major transformation.

Elipay, our cryptocurrency transaction system, has started being implemented at BTC City, a shopping, business and logistics centre of European significance. The response of BTC City stores as well as volunteers wishing to become Elipay testers has even exceeded our own optimistic expectations. BTC City is about to become the first Bitcoin City in the world with Elipay, and we are hoping that the Elipay system will have a nationwide outreach till the end of the year. In the next few years, we plan to make it a European and then a global phenomenon, so that all of you community members will be able to enjoy the benefits of the Elipay system in your everyday crypto purchases.

ELI token

We would like to use this opportunity to give a visual dimension to the symbol of our project — the token that you all have received. This is ELI in its visual form. We wished it to be a symbol of the crypto era, which no longer exists only in abstract computer space. Its design represents the art of crypto meaning — the technology that Eligma and its community relies on.

We will keep you regularly informed on new developments of the Eligma company and are looking forward to your feedback — it is the drive of our development and the very force that keeps us going.

Sincerely,

Dejan Roljic, Eligma CEO
