Perfect by Ed Sheeran and On this Day 🎶

She’s wearing a white elicit dress. A veil on her head, white gloves covering her arms. Bouquet of white roses on her hands. She walks slowly, tears brimming on the side of her eyes looking at her man. Her mom and dad joins her. Both are happy and teary eyed. They are smiling as they walk down the aisle. Something her father said made her laugh a little. Oh that smile. The smile that reaches her eyes…

The distance is just a few meters away but her elegance, her stride, makes her pace have a slow motion effect. A walk that is worth while to watch. Everyone is either blowing their noses or wiping their cheeks.

The most awaited couple. The wedding of a lifetime. Now are to be blessed as one.

As she reach her soon to be husband, her father gave him a slightly forceful (than he intended to) pat on the shoulder. As he said, “take care of my princess.” Then, turned back and held her wife back to their respective seats as soon as the tears fell from his eyes that he doesn’t want her daughter to see.

The bride then wraps her hand proudly around his shoulder as if it is her favorite pillow. (Which he is.) He slowly ushered her down the altar and the ceremony began.
