Mahindra Tech, the Indian IT giant is bringing Blockchain solutions to the Indian market through partnership with the Swedish Blockchain, ChromaWay.

The Indian government has a strict stance and anti-crypto outlook. Despite that, the fifth largest economy is growing in crypto-world and is welcoming companies who are looking to be a part of the bandwagon. — Henrik Hjelte, CEO

Henrik Hjelte, CEO of ChromaWay, said they “saw the partnership as an opportunity to leverage their open source consortium database technology by bringing in real and measurable improvements to society.”

They also quoted:

Together, they aim to build on the existing strong relationship with the governments, and in due course expand to neighboring states. The ultimate goal through this partnership is to have the open-source technology platform powering a rich ecosystem of applications both in land registration and beyond, on a global scale.

The huge possibility of applying blockchain to India’s Banking, Telecom, Healthcare, and other new systems makes the Head of Blockchain Center of Excellence, Rachit Batham, excited.

Rachit Batham says:

They are making focused investments in building sustainable solutions and platforms.

ChromaWay’s distinct combination of SQL database, blockchain technology, and post-chain technology are some of their strengths that they are eagerly willing to market as this technology is already being used in trials as part of the land registry in the country.

August Botsford, the Director at ChromaWay, said that the startup was not only into a few systems but is also looking into entering other sectors which included part tracking, logistics, trade finance, maintenance and, supply chain management.

These signs indicate that blockchain technology is accumulating interests and speed in public and private sectors in India. The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) is keeping an eye on the potential applications of Blockchain Technology in different sectors like health, education, and agriculture.

They desire to equip people by fighting corruption and collaborating with everyone. Blockchain solutions for government agencies are anticipated to be built along with this project.
