Farms are farming. We are building. BTC is…well, who knows?!

What’s on the workbench?

We are currently working on releasing the Alpha BaaS on Testnet, and the cross-chain swap feature. The cross-chain swaps requires that we build a mini-oracle so we can provide the prices of tokens on other chains (this allows users to know how much they get when swapping — quite important!)

This mini-oracle is a critical component for the transparency and accuracy of the ElkNet when processing cross-chain swaps. The old adage of doing things once and doing them right is front of mind for this part!

As Alpha BaaS edges closer we continue prepare for a smooth roll-out, along with a few other things such as the configuration contract for BaaS. When we know it’s ready, you’ll know

Anything else?

Hopefully you’ve all seen that there are still some seriously tasty APRs available from the Elk Rush: Avalanche campaign. Further to this is the arrival of ELK on defi.watch — now with all 19 ELK chains tracked for easy portfolio monitoring.

Alongside Tin.Network, we feel there is now a good choice of portfolio trackers for those of you committed to the Elk Finance ecosystem.

With regards to our community, do come and share any requests or questions with us in Telegram or Discord if you’d like.

Our Business Development team is working behind the scenes to enhance the strategic position of Elk and the ElkNet in the bridging space. Currently there are some exciting conversations with other protocols to allow Elk integrations that will open even more cross-chain doors.

We are also enjoying the interest from projects interested in Alpha BaaS testing. It’s not too late to get involved though. Do you fancy seeing your token as an ElkNet native token, like $ELK itself? Able to move freely, 1:1 across 19 chains?

Go on, go on, g’wan, I know you like the sound of that!
