A little too rushed?
I did not want to do hot yoga that day. I didn’t have the energy or time to fit in a workout. I resisted until the very last minute, but sheer guilt wore me down. If I rushed, I could make it on time.
I threw on the tiny shorts and micro top that will end up drenched by the end of class. I grabbed my sweat towel and a small bath towel for my shower afterward. With my water bottle in hand, I ran out the door.
To my surprise, I rallied during class and had a fantastic workout. I peeled off my soaked clothes and relished in the warm shower as my body finally relaxed and cooled down.
I got out, wrapped my towel around me, and headed over to my cubby for a change of clothes. And that’s when I ran into a huge problem.
I didn’t have a change of clothes.
The only thing I had was the sweat-drenched outfit I had just peeled off my body. Well. I sure as heck wasn’t putting that back on.
In a situation like that, I had only one choice.
And I was going to own it.
