Chapter 198 is nothing fancy. It’s the basic blog-about-my-evening type of post.

Tonight, I was back at Anfield. Liverpool vs Leeds in the League Cup quarter-final.

As always, the day was spent getting excited. Wishing my time away is standard practice when I’m a few hours from visiting Anfield.

After work, it was the usual process.

Rush to the station, hop on a train to Liverpool, make my way to Anfield and meet up with the lads.

Grab some food, consider a pint, realise there’s no time, get in the ground, admire the view:

Sing You’ll Never Walk Alone, stay stood up, chant every chant as loud as possible, get behind the team.

And (hopefully) watch Liverpool win.

Tonight was another of those wins; 2–0, Origi and Woodburn.

I’m starting to think me and my mates are some sort of good luck charm conglomerate. Honestly, we’ve never had the displeasure of seeing Liverpool lose at Anfield.

Here’s to the streak staying alive for the semi-final tie.

Catch you all tomorrow.

Thanks for reading Chapter 198!
