Happy Thursday; you’ve almost reached the finish line. Today we’ve got more fresh Invites to submit your work to, a spotlight on the Illustration Community, a quick note on scheduled maintenance and some new Invite opportunities from our partners at Talenthouse.

Powerful Art for Social Change
Submit your work that represents social change for the opportunity to have prints exhibited at a creative panel talk and event in December 2018 in Los Angeles, hosted by Talenthouse and receive $250.

Artists have always been at the forefront of societal change. Their creations have the power to speak to the masses, push boundaries, inform on cultural issues, and tap into the full spectrum of our emotions.

Together with Talenthouse, we’re calling for artists to submit artwork that speaks on culturally relevant moments, or inspires a certain type of worldview. Whether your message is clear or abstract, political or personal, the work should undeniably captivate an audience. Submit your art, graphic design, illustration, and/or photography for the opportunity to have prints of your work exhibited at a Talenthouse-hosted event in December 2018.

Opportunity

A minimum of 2 selected artists:

Will be exhibited at a creative panel talk and event in December 2018 in Los Angeles, hosted by Talenthouse

Blacklisted: Resistance
Submit your work that conveys a message of “resistance” to be interviewed for an article on Blacklisted Copenhagen’s digital platform.

Art is political. Either in it’s messaging, or in the act of the creator making a conscious choice to live a life of struggle — the starving artist. In the world’s current climate of political polarization, populism, and tyranny, the voice of the artist to draw attention to these issues has never been so important.

Blacklisted Magazine wants to interview and showcase the work of artists who take a stand for their beliefs — whatever they may be. The artist’s voice can be a powerful one, so share your perspective.

Opportunity

A minimum of 3 selected artists:

Will be interviewed about your work, your process, and your beliefs relating to the subject of Resistance

And will have your works published on Blacklisted Magazine’s digital publication.
