About Schoony
Schoony’s artistic journey began in the film industry, where he specialized in special effects, prosthetics, props, and makeup, making significant contributions to iconic films like the Harry Potter series, Gladiator, and Where the Wild Things Are over 25 years. Inspired by a family immersed in film, he seamlessly transitioned into the visual arts. His prominence grew in 2008 with the debut of the thought-provoking “Boy Soldier” installation at Mutate Britain’s “One Foot in the Grove,” initially showcased in front of the Houses of Parliament during anti-war protests.
Notable creations like “Bruiser” (2017) and “Boy Soldier” in various materials have captured collectors like Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rita Ora, and Damon Albarn. Schoony’s art often portrays a shirtless child, juxtaposing youthful innocence and the harsh realities of conflict zones — a powerful commentary.

Fusion is an innovative feature by ElmonX that enables you to ‘fuse’ (burn) your collectibles to obtain a fully assembled Boy Soldier collectible. The newly fused asset is eligible to redeem a physical toy (full details below)

You are able to fuse (burn) all four of the collectibles mentioned above to receive the full model Boy Soldier. Once fused you will receive a new digital collectible with the full Boy Solider model.

All digital collectibles will initially be green until the physical redemption concludes. A specific percentage of the digital collection will undergo a colour change*

How to Purchase (Public Sale)
The NFT collection is available for purchase at https://elmonx.com/ on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no set limit on collectibles that can be purchased.
As you proceed with the checkout process, you will be required to input your Ethereum (ETH) address and then mark the checkbox to make the payment using a card or ETH. After making your selection, a popup will emerge for you to finalize the payment for your NFT. Following a successful payment, this NFT will be minted into your wallet, undergoing a brief waiting duration for the transaction to confirm on the blockchain.
Please note that currently, only MetaMask is available for ETH transactions. Transactions will incur an added gas fee which will fluctuate. ETH transactions can only be used on a desktop or laptop.
You must be logged into the ElmonX.com website with a registered account. This will be the same as your app login username and password. We suggest setting up an account before the launch and confirming your email.
Please note that ElmonX cannot be held responsible if you mistakenly enter an incorrect ETH address during checkout.
Additional Information
ElmonX will retain 2 mints of each colour (not including the 1/1 editions) and 6 of each individual part.
Mint editions do not apply for the four individual parts collectibles. When you fuse (burn) your collectibles, the token ID will be sequential, however the mint number will be updated after the physicals have arrived with the matching digital.
Boy Soldier (Body) allows unlimited purchases in a single transaction, while Boy Soldier: Pin, Grenade & Base are limited to one purchase per transaction, with an unlimited total number of purchases.
Any unsold editions from the 4 parts will be retained by ElmonX.
ElmonX 3D / Augmented Reality
The purchase of the Schoony Boy Soldier (full model) collectible unlocks exclusive access to view your NFT in augmented reality by connecting your wallet to ElmonX.com. This feature is only accessible to holders of the NFT. Holders can scan a barcode to view the AR / 3D NFT on mobile as well as desktop.
Secondary Market Fees
A 10% secondary market fee will be applied to the Schoony Boy Soldier collection in the secondary market. Additional fees may be applied by external marketplaces such as Open Sea.
