About Patrick Hughes
Patrick held his first solo show in 1961 at the Portal Gallery, London. A few years later, Hughes made two seminal reverse perspective works, Infinity and Sticking-out Room. In the 1970s Hughes’ name became synonymous with rainbow paintings, which also became very popular as prints and as postcards; people enjoyed them as decoration, but for Hughes the rainbow represented a solid experience.
In the late 1980s Hughes revisited exploiting the difference between perspective and reverspective and solidifying space. For the last 25 years his 3-D reverspective paintings have been hughesually in demand, exhibited around the world and featured in many public collections. The experience of seeing a Patrick Hughes sculptured painting in reality is really to experience unreality and the paradox of illusory space and movement.

Rubik’s Cube is another mind-boggling feat of genius by the king of “reverspective” as the cube literally comes to life depending on the angle it is viewed.

If you own a L’Amour Original or L’Amour Animated NFT, you can claim early access to Patrick Hughes Rubik’s Cube or Die.
Please follow these steps below:
- Open the website elmonxplus.com
- Click the product you want to purchase (Rubik’s Cube or Die)
- Connect your wallet (which holds the L’Amour NFT)
- Click redeem
- Enter your card details and purchase the item (you will receive email confirmation after purchasing)
- Your wallet will be whitelisted after the purchase and you can claim your NFT at the end of the public sale via ElmonX.com (we will publish the link to claim on social media)
Additional Private Sale Information:
The number of Rubik’s Cube or Die NFTs you can acquire is determined by the quantity of L’Amour NFTs you possess. Owning 1 L’Amour Original or 1 L’Amour Animated allows you to purchase 1 Die and 1 Rubik’s Cube. For instance, if you currently hold 3 L’Amour Original NFTs, you can purchase 3 Die and 3 Rubik’s Cubes.
Taking part in the private sale does not impose any limitations on your ability to participate in the public sale. This means that even if you have made a purchase during the private sale, you are still eligible to try and acquire items during the public sale.
During the public sale, you have the opportunity to purchase up to three editions of each NFT. Please note that exceeding this limit will result in the cancellation of your entire order.
If you have made purchases during the private sale, you are still eligible to acquire up to 3 editions in the public sale, in addition to your private purchases.

How to Purchase (public sale)
The NFT collection is available for access at https://elmonxplus.com/ on a first-come, first-served basis. Each person is entitled to purchase one of each NFT.
As you proceed with the checkout process, you will need to provide your Ethereum (ETH) address, which will be whitelisted. Please carefully review the following information on how to claim your NFT after completing the purchase.
Please note that ElmonX cannot be held responsible if you mistakenly enter an incorrect ETH address during checkout.

ElmonX will retain mints 1–5 and 25 other randomly assigned mints.
The distribution of mint editions is random and not based on the order of purchase.

Secondary Market Fees
A 10% secondary market fee will be applied to the Patrick Hughes collection in the secondary market. Additional fees may be applied by external marketplaces such as Open Sea.
