Our Ruby on Rails Workshop is over, but you can already apply for the next one!
Past weekend (26–27 July) we organized the first Ruby on Rails workshop in our office. After launching the event landing page, we received hundreds of applications! Sadly, we had to pick only twelve.
Feedback from participants following the event was helpful, and that’s something we look forward to improve on the next workshop.

About the Workshop
The free Ruby on Rails workshop covers introduction to Ruby language and Rails framework. The main goal is for participants to work on projects in groups of four, with the help from mentors.
For some it is an introduction to the framework. For others an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and get answers to puzzling Rails questions.
Who is this Workshop for
- For beginners to web development (any language or framework)
- For beginners to web development in Ruby on Rails
- For those that have programming experience (any language or framework)
During the workshop you will learn to design and create a functional web application using Ruby on Rails.
An opportunity to join EL Passion
Shortly after the workshop we invite chosen candidates to join us for a 2-month paid internship. After this period you can get a full-time contract and start working as a Rails developer!
