Elpis Battle Chapter 1: The Chaos Beginning
After the merger of the seven continents, the world of Elpis entered new chaos after centuries of peace. The chaos also signaled the beginning of new rules that any Elpis hero should know when entering this world.
Some features in the first version of Elpis Battle
⛰ Dungeon Mode
Each account will receive 20 energy daily to explore the Elpis World and battle with creatures on continents to earn rewards.
Players winning battles will earn Coin, eStone, and MEG - the most widely-used currency in the Elpis World.
Each account is limited to an earning of 200 MEG per day from Dungeon Mode and reset at 00:00 UTC daily.
🤺 Recruitment feature
Players can train and enlist the next generation of heroes to the army by the Recruitment feature.
In the first 30 days of Chapter 1: The Chaos Beginning, the recruitment fee will require both $MEG and $EBA. After that, it will require only $MEG.

🦺 Equipment feature
Players can use their equipment collected earlier from NFT Equipment Fair Launch at the third week of Chapter 1.
🐉 Boss raid
Every week, each map will have a Boss raiding event. All players are chosen to attack the boss in each continent and win rewards based on the contributed effort of their team. The higher the level of heroes and their attributions are, the bigger reward will be earned.
Boss raiding event will be introduced on the fifth week of Chapter 1.
Special events that happen in Chapter 1
🦸♂ 5000 Hero Minting Event
As announced in this article, the Elpis team will mint 5000 heroes more to sponsor or reward our special events and tournaments. These heroes will not join any in-game events but be awarded to our users in special events.
🤑 MEG Buy-back Event — “Thank you for being here with us”
Since MEG is distributed through the fair launch: no pre-sale, no pre-mint, no allocation, there is no initial supply of MEG. The only way to mint MEG is throughout in-game activities.
The development team aims to build MEG as a widely-used currency in Elpis. Ideally, anyone should be able to easily buy/sell MEG on DEXs.
So, we will conduct a buy-back program for MEG from our community of players. The MEGs from this program will be provided for the liquidity pool.
The buy-back program will occur in the first and second week of Chapter 1.
More details will be updated in the next few days.
Notes:
- In the first and second week of Chapter 1, players can claim their first rewards at any time. After that period, rewards will be locked for 7 days until the next claim.
- From the third week onward, the lock period will increase to 14 days.
🤔 Why are there so many uncertainties?
As introduced, this is a chaotic beginning, in both game and economy aspects. Some of our designs will be adjusted temporarily in this early stage to drive the economy as well as encourage more users to join and experience the game. We will strictly follow the feedback from community members to make appropriate adjustments.
The expected period of Elpis Battle Chapter 1 can be up to 10 weeks, but we believe that for a long-term visioned project like Elpis, prudence is essential before our next moves in releasing other attractive features.
