Binance Listing, Community Growth, News, Reviews and Next Steps Ahead
After 1.5 years of research and development Elrond has delivered state of the art blockchain technology: a fully sharded architecture with a live testnet processing upwards of 12.000 TPS with only 5 shards. This has been a major milestone.
We were blown away by the excitement and community support expressed yesterday, so we are glad to share the latest updates with you.
Successful Binance listing
Following a successful public sale with a record number of participating tickets (97,817), Elrond is currently trading both on Binance DEX and Binance.com with a volume peaking $30 Million for the first hour, and $241,262,377 in the past 26 hours. Not too bad for a first listing day.
Growing the Elrond awareness
We are also happy to announce that Elrond is currently listed on Coinmarketcap, Coingecko, Blockfolio, Delta, Blockcc, and Feixiaohao.
In addition, we have also joined the Binance Info’s transparency initiative and are now sharing project-related information such as news and progress reports on Binance Info.
Accelerating community growth

Social mining restart
Our community has been growing significantly, and to help channel some of this positive energy we are excited to re-open our Community Platform and restart social mining. This is a great chance to get involved, start supporting Elrond, and share the information to other communities around the world. We will follow up with an announcement on the exact day of the opening, and more information on processes.

We love validators
As you may know, you can already join our Riot channel for technical and validator discussions. The documentations for running an Elrond node is out, and you can participate in the community bug hunt. More info in this thread.
We are super excited about the Battle of Nodes which will start very soon. A dedicated page for this will be ready, where developers can apply, take part in the competition, stress test the network and win Elrond rewards.
Binance DEX competition
The 77 000 000 $ERD Airdrop is currently LIVE on the Binance DEX, and it will end on the 9th of July. Here are some interesting stats about Day 1 $73 Airdrop (Approx $110,000 USD):

- 15,400,000 ERD & 400 BNB were airdropped (Approx $110,000 USD)
