Elusiv is thrilled to announce that we sponsor the Private Payments using ZK track with 3,000 USDC!

Solana Sandstorm is a virtual Solana Hackathon from January 10th to 23rd. Elusiv is sponsoring the Private Payments track with a prize of 3,000 USDC for the best integration using our SDK. Besides our private payments track, there are many other tracks that participants can sign up for, such as DeFi, DAOs, Dev Tooling, and NFTs, with over $160k in total prize money to be won. In addition, participating “hackers” have the opportunity to meet in person in various cities such as Singapore, New York, and Belgrade.

Why you should have privacy into your protocol or wallet application

Elusiv utilizes advanced Zero-Knowledge (ZK) technology to provide on-chain privacy and safety. At its core, integrating Elusiv into your protocol allows you to keep transaction data private when desired, allowing users to control who sees what information, how long they can see it, and how it can be used. This means that users can make payments or trades without having all of their personal information exposed or shared with the public. Making it more difficult for malicious actors to gain access to sensitive personal data. In addition, malicious actors are excluded from using Elusiv through our decentralized compliance system.

Add privacy to your protocol with a few lines of code

The integration process with the Elusiv SDK is easy! With just a few simple steps, developers can quickly start using Elusiv in their projects. The SDK allows developers to integrate private payments (and decentralized compliance) into any protocol or wallet application.

The main idea of Elusiv is that you have a private balance on-chain, from which you can send money and receive money while maintaining your privacy i.e., without anyone being able to see your associated public key. Therefore, the two core operations you can perform on your private balance are topping it up with funds and sending funds from your private balance.

The most important part of the SDK is the Elusiv class, which provides all methods needed to easily and portably interact with the on-chain program.

There, the main flow generally goes

  1. (Create the Elusiv Instance)
  2. Create an Elusiv transaction
  3. Send off the Elusiv transaction
  4. Wait for it to confirm.

Doing these steps can be seen in the sample code below:

We hope you will participate in our track!

Blockchain users are increasingly recognizing the importance of privacy protocols for securely sending and receiving funds on-chain with full compliance and safety measures in place. That’s why Elusiv is proud to sponsor the Private Payments track at the Solana Sandstorm Hackathon — so that talented developers can integrate our SDK into their own projects and continue building a more secure blockchain future! We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

About Elusiv

Elusiv is a Zero-Knowledge privacy protocol for privately sending and receiving funds on-chain with a big focus on compliance. Elusiv both provides privacy to the users (even when interacting with normal non-private wallets on the blockchain) and safety by keeping malicious actors out of the privacy protocol. Furthermore, Elusiv VMs, an extension of Elusiv, enable rapid development of solutions leveraging more general ZK circuits.
