偉大的天才：Richard Swift 遺作

昨晚終於放了迷幻低傳真創作人 Richard Swift 的遺作，內心是滿滿的傷感。

「我需要一個避風港，我需要一個朋友。」

因為長期酒精中毒，過去這兩年他不斷進出勒戒所，但去年七月引起的肝炎併發症，最終還是奪去他的生命。

死前已經完成的作品《The Hex》，聽來熟悉依舊，甚至有些歌，就像在預知他的死亡，例如〈Broken Finger Blues〉。

他唱道：「我的身體壞掉了，我的身體滿是憂鬱；當你打電話來，記得呼喊我的名字，試著要記得，不要失去（最重要的東西）的感覺。」

嘿，不要失去最重要的東西。

在誠品買到他的專輯，那也是十幾年前的事了，他的作品總是給我 Sparklehorse 的低調情感。

他才41歲，前陣子才在網站上募資醫療費，但結果還是來不及。

同時他也是The Shins、The Arcs樂團成員，以及The Black Keys巡演樂手，也曾與Sharon Van Etten、Foxygen、Damien Jurado合作。

會錄音、會當製作人、會彈吉他、會彈貝斯、會打鼓、會玩鍵盤⋯⋯非常全才的音樂人。
