自我隔離泡泡球演唱會：The Flaming Lips

「Do You Realize？
你體悟到了嗎？每個你認識的人，終將一死⋯⋯」

全世界演唱會幾乎都停辦或延期的當下，看到 Stereogum 分享的這張插畫，想起了 2013 年在迎風河濱公園「月升王國音樂遊園祭」看烈火紅唇的演出。

安可曲就是唱〈Do You Realize〉，雖然主唱並沒有站在泡泡球裡，走在觀眾的手上，但也是夠激動了。

如果未來的演唱會，我們都有一顆泡泡球⋯⋯

來聽這首足以傳世 100 年的好歌。

一首告訴我們要珍惜現在，擁抱心愛的人的歌曲。

而如今，這個插畫變成實體了！

他們在荷伯報到深夜秀（The Late Show With Stephen Colbert），演出了這首 1999 年的經典曲目〈Race For The Prize〉

新一輩樂迷也許聽過泰國樂隊 Gym and Swim 的現場翻唱。這首歌描寫了敵對科學家，口口聲聲為了「人類發展」而彼此競爭，最後造成自我毀滅。

看到大家都做好社交隔離，在泡泡球裡開心地跳舞，內心有種喜悅又悲傷的感受。尤其當歌詞唱道，這些被迫消失的「只是平凡的人，有妻子與孩子的人」

此時，鏡頭剛好 cue 到一個媽媽抱著小孩。

這場演出實際上不是現場收音，採用的是他們 2019 年與科羅拉多交響樂團合作的 Live Album 版本；雖然如此，但那壯闊與悲涼的合聲，給予了一種末日般的氛圍。

天知道疫情還要持續多久，愚蠢的人類離戰爭有多近。
