We’ve seen a lot of interest and questions about CRX lately. In this post, we’d like to answer some of the most frequently asked questions. We’ll cover everything from what CRX is, to the token issuance plan and launch timeline, benefits, and much more.

1. Introduction to CRX

1) What is CRX?

CRX is a perpetual decentralized futures exchange (Perp DEX) based on an index of real-world assets (RWA) and tokens.

2) What problem does CRX solve?

CRX aims to solve the problem of the Real-World Assets (RWA) market, which has traditionally had high barriers to entry. The RWA market is inaccessible to many investors due to various constraints. These barriers make it particularly difficult for retail investors to invest in real-world assets. By lowering the barriers to entry in the RWA market, CRX aims to create an environment where more investors can freely invest in real-world assets. This will provide more investment opportunities for investors, and the RWA market will become more active.

3) What are the main functions and features of CRX?

CRX supports most of the features offered by existing perpetual DEX, and the main features are as follows.

• Perpetual long/short trades: You can make perpetual long/short trades based on real-world assets, token indices, and more.
• Leveraged Trading: Provides leveraged trading options, allowing you to take positions up to tens of times your holdings.
• Invest in real-world asset indices: Trade futures based on real-world asset indices.
• Decentralized: All trades are made automatically via smart contracts, contributing to greater transparency and security of transactions.

2. CRX Tokenomics

1) Will CRX tokens be issued?

Yes, we are currently in the process of issuing CRX tokens.

2) What are the main uses of the CRX token?

• Investment: attract institutional investment.
• User incentives: incentivize early users to activate the ecosystem.
• Governance: holders participation in governance to determine the direction of the platform.
• User Benefits: benefits distribution to existing ecosystem users.

3) Are there any benefits associated with CRX tokens for EL stakers?

EL stakers are offered two main benefits. The staker’s choice will determine what kind of benefits they get from CRX, and this structure is benchmarked to the tokenomics of GMX (#1 Perp DEX by DeFiLama TVL).

1.After the launch of the points program, additional points will be awarded specifically for EL stakers. Later, esCRX tokens will be allocated according to the percentage of points collected.

※ esCRX is a token that can be claimed for CRX tokens after a certain vesting period as a kind of exchange right.

2.ELYSIA ecosystem will receive esCRX corresponding to approximately 20% of the total CRX tokens allocated. Users who receive esCRX through EL staking can choose to benefit from one of two strategies.

A) CRX Revenue Sharing: Users who choose this benefit can continue to receive CRX revenue sharing as long as they maintain their EL staking. Of course, you can also apply for a second “CRX Vesting” at any time while receiving CRX revenue sharing. (We are also considering a boosting structure that increases revenue proportionally to the duration).

B) CRX Vesting: You can choose to forgo revenue sharing in CRX and receive CRX tokens after a certain vesting period. After the vesting period, you can claim your CRX tokens.

3. CRX Schedule

1) What is the release schedule for CRX?

The launch phase of CRX is divided into two main phases (Points Program, CRX). The timing of each phase is subject to change based on consultation with foundation and institutional participants and is roughly as follows.

A) Point Program

We will run a point program and allocate esCRX tokens based on the percentage of points collected by each user. This program is designed for initial user acquisition and rapid growth, and is benchmarked against other platforms. The program is expected to start in late June/early July.

B) CRX

We plan to launch a test version in Q3 of this year. In this version, you will be able to test features using the points you have collected in the previous points program and earn more points by doing so. The results of the testing will determine the timeline for the full release, which we will share with the community periodically.

※ esCRX는 일종의 교환권 개념으로 일정 베스팅 기간을 거친 뒤에 CRX 토큰을 클레임할 수 있는 토큰입니다.

2.엘리시아 생태계에는 전체 CRX 토큰의 약 20%에 상응하는 esCRX가 할당됩니다. EL 스테이킹을 통해 esCRX를 받은 유저는 다음 두 가지 전략 중 하나를 선택하여 혜택을 얻을 수 있습니다.

A) CRX 수익 분배: 해당 혜택을 선택한 유저는 EL 스테이킹을 유지하는 동안 지속적으로 CRX의 수익을 분배 받을 수 있습니다. 물론, CRX의 수익을 분배 받다가 언제든지 2번의 CRX 베스팅을 신청할 수도 있습니다. (또한 기간에 비례하여 수익이 증가하는 부스팅 구조도 검토 중입니다.)

B) CRX 베스팅: CRX에서 분배되는 수익을 포기하고 일정 베스팅 기간을 거쳐 CRX 토큰을 받을 수 있습니다. 베스팅 기간을 거친 뒤에는 CRX 토큰을 클레임할 수 있습니다.

3. CRX 일정

1) CRX의 출시 일정은 어떻게 되나요?

CRX의 출시 단계는 크게 두 가지 단계(포인트 프로그램, CRX)로 나뉩니다. 각 단계별 시기는 재단 및 기관 참여자들의 협의에 따라 변경될 수 있으며 대략 다음과 같습니다.

A) 포인트 프로그램

포인트 프로그램을 운영하고 사용자들이 각각 수집한 포인트 비율에 따라 esCRX 토큰이 할당될 예정입니다. 초기 유저 확보 및 빠른 성장을 위해 기획 하였으며 타 플랫폼들의 사례를 벤치마킹 하였습니다. 해당 프로그램은 6월말 ~ 7월 초에 시작할 예정입니다.

B) CRX

올해 3분기에 테스트 버전을 출시할 예정입니다. 해당 버전에서는 앞서 포인트 프로그램에서 수집한 포인트를 활용하여 기능을 테스트 해볼 수 있으며 이를 통해 더 많은 포인트를 얻어갈 수 있습니다. 테스트 결과에 따라 정식 버전 출시 일정이 결정될 예정이며 이는 커뮤니티를 통해 주기적으로 공유하겠습니다.
