Emanate makes official CTO hire
Emanate announce EOSphere founder, Ross Dold, has accepted a permanent spot as the Emanate CTO.
Ross has been involved with Emanate for over 12 months, as an advocate, an angel investor, and technical advisor. When Emanate parted ways with the original technical co-founder in September 2018, Ross also stepped in as acting CTO.
Ross’s blockchain passion and experience are well known in the EOS community. His attraction to DPoS and the work of Dan Larimer goes back as far as Protoshares/Angelshares. But his most important venture to-date, EOSphere, had Ross helping launch the EOS main net in June 2018.
Before discovering a passion for blockchain, Ross spent nearly two decades managing teams and businesses in the network engineering and consultancy space. This critical experience has made EOSphere a popular BP amongst the EOS community, keeping them firmly in a paid position on the main net.
“Ross has been pivotal in helping the Emanate technical team transition and stay focussed between CTOs, and it has become more and more obvious that he is the right man for the job in the long term.” — Sean Gardner, Emanate CEO
Off the back of securing support from OCI computing earlier in the month, this hire gives Emanate the right mix of internal and external expertise to succeed in the delivery of the Emanate roadmap: from the imminent Alpha release, right through to the production launch of the Emanate network.
Ross will be in Washington on June 1st representing both EOSphere and Emanate, and in San Francisco for the Tulip Conference June 3–7.
