As well as a number of UK chart hits under his belt from former guises, he now runs Flex Records, continuing to pioneer music for the underground. His 1Xtra show was one of the most listened to of all 1Xtra shows online and he is unquestionably a heavyweight name in the drum and bass scene.

At 20 years old, his production skills show quality and maturity equal to those who’ve been in the game for years. His debut release Tessellate set a foundation of quality for his driving, melodic sound. He followed up with ‘In My Mind’ released last month, getting radio play on New Zealand’s George FM.

Just last week Laminar took out third place in our remix competition with Attlas, landing a release on mau5trap records.
