Bro-Mo’s, Furry Caterpillars, Lip Rugs & Ticklers; there are many mo’s out there, coming in all shapes and sizes. Good music and moustaches have gone hand in hand for centuries. Some grow like thick, bushy handle bars and others come through like pencil thin, elegant fur above the top lip.

They’re a beautiful accessory for a man and an even better accessory for a musician. They’re controversial at times and make you take notice, just like good music should!

Moustaches done well are something to be admired. So to help spread the awareness of Movember, that’s exactly what we’re doing! The mo’s below are some of our favorite moustaches being touted today by some of the best musicians in music.

6. Adam & Reuben — Peking Duk

First on our list are Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles of Australian electro duo, Peking Duk. The boys formed in Canberra back in 2012 and grew mo’s shortly after. As the boys from Oz reached new heights, so did their moustaches! We’re not sure if the two are related but that’s not the point.

They’re a little bit dangerous, a little bit seductive and just the right length.

5. Monte Morgan — Cliant Liason

Next up we have Monte Morgan of Cliant Liason. It’s difficult to ignore Monte Morgans flavor saver. As the lead singer of this Australian retro-pop duo, you need to look your best, and that’s exactly what Monte’s mo does.

Sitting atop his top lip, it’s the perfect addition to the Aussie duos ’80s chic persona.

4. Childish Gambino

Maybe you know him from Community, maybe as a young Lando Calrissian from Star Wars, it doesn’t matter. We know him as the man who made the moustache sexy again. Childish Gambino has reinvented himself many times throughout his career, but our favorite look of the American hip-hop legend is definitely his nostalgic reincarnation of funk & soul when he released his album ‘Awaken My Love’ back in 2016.

The album made waves across the globe, helping breathe new life into an old sound and moustaches all at once.

Find out more about Movember and get behind a great cause to help support the health and well being of men from all walks of life.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.

3. Gaspard Augé — Justice

Gaspard Augé is one half of the French electronic duo, Justice. They’re France’s biggest electro export since Daft Punk and Gaspard’s mo is the biggest export of a mans top lip we’ve seen in a long time.

Sometimes looking more like Lemmy from Motörhead than an DJ, Gaspard’s moustache is like a wild beast: untamed, untrimmed, and something to be admired.

2. Justin Hawkins — The Darkness

Justin Hawkins, lead singer of British rock group The Darkness has sported many different looks during his time in the spotlight. After bursting onto the scene in skin tight spandex back in 2003, the energetic frontman took a long hiatus from the rock & roll lifestyle. After resurrecting rock & roll, fans were desperate for Justin to return to the stage, with some fearing he might never return. Finally in 2011, fans had their prayers answered when the rock god returned, furrier than ever!

Rock & Roll fans everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief, delighted with the return of Justin and his new crumb catcher!

1. Freddie Mercury

You didn’t think we’d actually forgotten him, did you?

Freddie was a rock legend that opened the door for furry lipped lead singers all around. He could hold an entire stadium of people in his hand as he belted out a tune from his bristly topped mouth. Freddie and his mo will always be remembered as one of the most iconic duos the music world will ever know.

A community that instantly rewards artists and music lovers for their creative expression and dedication to music.
