Bahrain to host a major health conference in September

Manama, Apr. 27. (BNA) Under the patronage of Minister of State for Defence Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Health Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the first event related to e-health in Bahrain, themed “Seha Tech”, will be held at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from September 23 to 25, with the participation of a large number of specialists and experts from around the world.
This event is to be held in collaboration with strategic local and international partners and is considered an integrated and clear message about the performance of the health sector in the region.
It will provide a platform in which the most important strategies and plans on upgrading health performance will be presented.
The conference offers the latest information technologies to improve the performance of health and how to use them, focusing on the advantage of these technologies to health employees or those involved directly in the health field.
It also deals with the mechanisms of action in work environment so as to develop the health system in an integrated manner that has a clear impact on the health of individuals in the community.
Workshops will be held on the sidelines of the conference addressing three aspects, namely: mobile health, healthcare and cloud computing of healthcare.
The exhibition includes many health services providers and support services. They will showcase health services or related services.
