After every sprint it is obvious we have to do a demonstration. How many times you’ve got succeeded? Or how many times you failed? Being with all the scrum teams in my workplace, my favorite thing is to watch the demonstrations. It’s an art. The one who grab the art always deliver a successful demo and make their clients so much happy.

Let’s see, 3 things you should know to be successful at the demo.

  1. Know the objectives of the sprint

You should know the main things that have to be done during the sprint. As long as you know the objective of the sprint you can make the flow of your demonstration accordingly. You have to show the stakeholders that the team has completed and achieved the objectives

2. Know what you have to demonstrate

Under the given objectives team has to develop different features or functionalities. You should know how to demonstrate those features, which flows are more important, which error scenarios you have to be shown likewise. The most important thing is you have to practice those scenarios before the demo. it always makes you comfortable when doing the presentation

3. Know your audience

You should know your audience. This audience is not the product owner or the teammates who are watching you. It’s the end users of the product. You have to imitate your end-users. You have to simulate the real experience of a real user. Every time use real data. It gives much more value to your demo
