Is your product owner repeating something over and over?

Last Friday we had a demonstration to one of our product owners who was again pointed out few specific things which he always tends to repeat in every demonstration. When I tried to memorize how many times he has mentioned those things I realized he keeps on checking these few things from the day we started the project. Date format, language translations and capitalization are some of simple little things that he is unique about, but most of the time we forget.

Similarly, if you clearly monitor your product owner, he or she may also have specific concerns which they always follow and check. Some are specific on usability of the application, whereas some of them are concerned about the user interfaces. Therefore, as a team you should be able to identify your PO and his concerns. But that’s not enough, you have to get an action to make sure those concerns are met. The easiest way for that is, keep those concerns as a checklist or even better to add to the definition of done (DOD) where you won’t miss out to check. It’s a good habit for the team so they won’t miss anything and also it will be a good relief for your PO as he won’t repeat the same thing over and over.
