It was on February 14, 2020, that Block.one launched their first EOSIO product called Voice. Before then every EOSIO blockchain or product was created by the EOSIO community which is growing at a rapid pace as more developers, businesses and even countries begin to see the auspiciousness of the open-source software.
Voice is a blockchain-based social media application created with emphasis on the users of the platform. Unlike contemporary social media platforms, it would reward social media users instead of using them as products and unscrupulously selling their data.

It is a private blockchain in the sense that the database is controlled by Block.one. In order to reduce the risk of bots, fake accounts and misinformation by anonymous malicious actors, which has become a deeply rooted feature of contemporary social media, authenticity is going to be a core part of Voice. Voice has a KYC feature for identity verification. The purpose of identity verification is to make sure that every account belongs to a real person and not a bot. This would effectively foster the creation and sharing of authentic content on the platform by real users instead of bots and fake accounts.
Voice Tokens
Voice would operate a self-sustaining economy of ideas through which users would be rewarded for their ideas and engagement on the platform. The system is wired to give value back to the users. This reward would come in the form of the Voice Tokens. Users can earn Voice Tokens for expressing themselves and creating quality content.
Voice token serves three key purposes:

Only registered users (KYC) can hold or earn Voice tokens but all Voice content is available for anyone to view (read-only). Content creators will be able to edit their content in a transparent way.
