It’s been a while since I dived deep into a crypto project. As it turns out, I’ve been heads down researching this whole time. My freelance writing has led me to the inner workings of an OG crypto utility project. One that’s been active for over six years already.
But there’s a plot twist here. This particular crypto project went back to the drawing board a while back and has built out an additional layer of utility on top of its base layer.
Yes folks, it’s Arweave and AO Computer, and I think this combo is primed to disrupt the crypto status quo.
This is a massive topic, so I’m doing things a bit different this time round; I’ll be breaking down my research into two separate articles. This first piece looks at how the Arweave project came to be, how it works, and the culture of the Permaweb.
Along the way, we’ll discover an a-ha! moment that has led to one of the most exciting, yet vastly underrated, crypto narratives at the moment: AO Computer. Stay tuned for my deep dive on AO which should follow in the next few days.
