(Lilongwe, Malawi — 28 November 2023) — Emerging Public Leaders and the Government of Malawi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today that marks the beginning of a new collaboration to develop and deliver a public service fellowship for young leaders in Malawi.

The signing ceremony was attended by Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC), Madame Colleen Zamba who said improvement in public service performance through the involvement of youth is one of the key priority areas put in place by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera as one way of developing a vibrant economy.

“These are the results of some of the sideline meetings President Chakwera had at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, USA, where he met the officials of Emerging Public Leaders.” Zamba said.
