Mark Clancy Joins Emergynt as CTO
Experienced Financial Executive and Entrepreneur Joins Innovative Digital Risk Startup
Emergynt, a digital risk solution provider, today announced that former financial executive Mark Clancy is joining as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Clancy will lead the technology vision, product management, client delivery, and development teams.
Prior to Emergynt, Clancy was CEO of Soltra, a joint venture between FS-ISAC and DTCC which developed a software platform for sharing cyber threat intelligence between critical infrastructure firms. As a managing director at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) he was both the CISO and head of Technology Risk Management. Prior to DTCC he was Executive Vice President of Information Technology Risk at Citigroup.
“Mark spent the past year on our advisory board getting to know us,” said Emergynt CEO Earl Crane, “and when the opportunity presented itself to have Mark join us full-time, we jumped on it immediately.”
