Emeris users now have a lot more options available! We’re pleased to announce that we have integrated another seven IBC chains into Emeris Beta. That means you can carry out activities like transfer and view all your token balances from within one place with more functionalities, like swapping, to be added soon. Find out more about the latest chains you can interact with on Emeris Beta below.

Stargaze

Stargaze is a decentralized and community-owned network for NFTs. It is built as an application-specific Cosmos Proof-of-Stake (PoS) chain, running the Tendermint consensus engine. Its goal is to be similar to OpenSea, except governed by a community via a curation DAO and a protocol DAO.

Stargaze will allow users to buy, sell, and trade NFTs. It will also allow trading NFTs across other IBC-enabled chains, and interoperate with Ethereum over Gravity Bridge. STARS is the native staking token of the platform that is used for paying fees for processing transactions and storing data, running validator nodes on the network via staking STARS tokens, voting in governance for protocol upgrades and parameter changes, voting in the DAO to curate NFTs and fund creators, and to mint and bid on NFTs. Stargaze tools include Stargaze node software to run validators, full nodes, and perform command-line operations.

Rizon

The RIZON blockchain is a decentralized hub for decentralized assets, particularly stablecoins backed by real-world assets made possible by gaining permission from the Swiss financial regulation — the mainnet was launched on September 28th 2021. Its model is based around these stablecoins and using them to lower business risks by providing price stability and security, along with efficient and quick settlements.

It uses a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism and is built on Tendermint. Hdac Technology is the company behind the development of the RIZON blockchain, which helps it power and provide a variety of blockchain services for businesses, such as DeFi, NFTs, payments, a DEX, and more.

RIZON is built to be flexible, leveraging multiple modules from Hdac and Cosmos SDK to allow developers to deploy their own advanced blockchains while also connecting them with other IBC-enabled chains.

cheqd

cheqd is a self-sovereign identity (SSI) network that allows people and companies to regain full ownership and control of their personal data and information — this is executed by facilitating greater trust between both parties through verifiable digital identities. It’s built on Cosmos’ advanced blockchain framework, ensuring high speeds, true scalability, and maximum security, helping eliminate fears of data leaks and hacks.

The project aims to build an umbrella of security and sustainability around the concept of digital identities and verifiable credentials, making them accessible to anyone around the globe. With its technology, organizations and individuals receive autonomy over the data and trustworthy third parties that add credibility to these digital identities receive rewards for doing so.

With cheqd’s model, SSI companies are now able to build and deliver secure solutions to customers, as well as to create never before seen business models. Their decentralized identities enable empowerment and viability in the Web3 ecosystem, creating a permissionless SSI for everyone.

Chihuahua

Chihuahua is the next evolution in crypto dog meme coin technology, functioning as a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain built using Cosmos SDK and Tendermint consensus. The chain is also IBC-enabled, meaning it’s compatible with other chains that leverage IBC within the Cosmos ecosystem, allowing for seamless inter-chain communication and fluid transfer of assets across networks.

The platform was designed to incorporate a more efficient and environmentally friendly blockchain design framework, reducing energy consumption while enabling high efficiency and speeds for its users.

HUAHUA is the chain’s native token that facilitates governance through its staking mechanism. Users who stake the token help power the network and, in return, receive rewards, voting rights to influence the project’s future direction, and exclusive access to a Community Pool. This underlying system and mechanism ensure the project is community-driven to maintain its decentralized nature.

Desmos

Desmos is a Proof of Stake (Pos) public blockchain protocol built on Cosmos-SDK created to support and build open, decentralized, and censorship-resistant social networks and applications, specifically targeting those that are user-focused. It aims to solve the issues of centralized social networks and their lack of privacy/security through implementing anonymity features and improving social media users’ overall health when communicating and interacting online.

Its main feature is Demos Profiles, where users can create and manage their own cross-chain digital identities for proof and verification purposes from a single entity — leveraging IBC (xxx) allows them to link their decentralized identity to other interconnected blockchains or applications within the Cosmos ecosystem, establishing ownership between accounts across multiple chains.

The protocol is powered by the $DSM token, which can be staked to secure the network in return for platform transaction fees and inflation rewards — it’s also used as a governance mechanism for its holders.

Lum Network

Lum Network is a decentralized protocol designed for businesses to develop greater trust and confidence with their customers. The protocol was originally built on Ethereum but moved to use the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint BFT consensus mechanisms.

The team behind the project designed an incentive system where users provide quality reviews of business goods and services. These reviews are analyzed through Lum Network’s tools — if they’re deemed to be of high quality, users are compensated accordingly. This model allows businesses to receive more reliable customer input and reviews and feeds in better information as a whole.

Businesses can provide authenticity to online information by content stamping it on-chain, adding an additional layer of verification and trust to data. Lum also leverages its public decentralized ledger technology to ensure full transparency. Through the Beam protocol, temporary mutable states are created on the network’s ledger, making all content updates traceable.

LUM is the native token where participants can use it to pay for transaction fees and provide rewards to users for the high-quality content they provide. The project’s goal is to eventually become a key player that bridges greater trust between companies and their customers, becoming the standard in the industry by implementing new and innovative technologies

Sommelier

Sommelier is a DeFi blockchain protocol and bi-directional Ethereum bridge that serves as a co-processor to Ethereum, built on the Cosmos Stargate SDK. The protocol is powered by validators and LPs who can benefit from a wide array of transaction features, such as portfolio rebalancing and limit orders based on dynamically changing market conditions.

Although it is created to support multi-chain transactions, Sommelier has predominantly focused and tailored its overall model to tap into Ethereum’s vast DeFi ecosystem as a starting point, helping support DeFi liquidity and transactions by providing far more efficient throughput.

By allowing calculations on the portfolio rebalancing to be done off-chain, it employs a unique architecture to keep strategies private and allows strategies to employ a wide variety of data modeling techniques we use in traditional finance.

The protocol also aggregates and batches transactions, thereby reducing gas fees, providing an attractive alternative to Ethereum’s high transaction costs. As for security, Sommelier uses a decentralized governance mechanism run by validators, ensuring top-notch safety of user funds.
