Emeris Beta Integrates a New Chain -Crescent Network
According to Map of Zones, the growing community of IBC-enabled chains had a total volume of over $1 billion last week. Emeris currently supports 24 IBC-enabled blockchains and is actively working on new integrations.
This week, we’re pleased to announce that we’ve added the newly launched Crescent Network (formerly Gravity DEX protocol) to the list. Please note that while Crescent offers users the option of liquid staking, Emeris currently does not support this feature. Crescent
Crescent is a decentralized, mutually governed DeFi hub built using Cosmos technology with IBC functionality. The network is committed to providing a secure marketplace for multichain assets while offering its users capital-efficient incentivization.
Built by B-Harvest and incubated by Ignite, Crescent is a rebrand of the Gravity DEX protocol that aims to deliver sustainable functionality, optimized incentives, and interoperability.
The Crescent DEX allows users to:
- Exchange token pairs with minimal swap fees
- Vote on governance proposals by holding the native liquid staked token, bCRE
- Interact and share information with other blockchains in the Cosmos ecosystem
- Carry out synergetic liquidity farming and liquid staking for diverse asset management strategies
- Leverage efficient interchain DeFi tools such as lending and hedging to expand investment opportunities
Crescent seeks to evolve as a cross-chain DeFi hub and maximize the potential of IBC technology by integrating with blockchains beyond the Cosmos ecosystem.
In addition, the project submitted a proposal that recently passed governance for a structured decision-making framework that considers and implements feedback directly from its community, the Crescent Ethos.
