We’re not building another play-to-earn. We’re not promising you another over-ambitious mobile game or MMORPG that’ll never get delivered. We’re fed up with unrealistic expectations and near-scammy projects.
With EMΞTH, we are building what we would love to see in more NFT projects: a coherent storyline, that unfolds step by step, and a way to collect what really matters. Indelible memories forged alongside the community while participating in sensational online events and the proof that we were there, together, at the exact moment it happened.
Therefore, the Play-to-Collect concept is about collecting Memories and Unique NFTs.
When we used to play online games a lot, we started to play because some friends told us about it. Or because we watched a cool gameplay trailer that fired us up. And then we told friends about it. Or we just started playing the game, then making new friends through the chat section, guilds, teams, or whatever forums we visited.
In the end, playing online games has always been about living amazing experiences with our friends. Getting on Teamspeak, Skype, Mumble, or later Discord, small talking while waiting for everyone else to join. Describing what an amazing play we managed to pull up in solo earlier in the game, or complaining about the bad players we had to carry… All the chitchat that bonded us.
Then we would launch the ranked battles and the atmosphere would become more serious. Communication was key to winning. And it’s through communication and sharing these online moments with each other that we can still remember some spectacular victories or almighty defeats.
Years after, the nostalgia still kicks in.
These are the kind of memories we want to collect with EMΞTH.
Setting in stone these precious moments is absolutely essential. That’s why, as an NFT project, we want to reward the players with ultra-rare NFTs every time they battle.
Why ultra-rare?
Because each monthly battle is set up in collaboration with another major NFT project. The EMETH players will face this other project’s players as opponents. 2 teams, 1 battle.
At the end of the battle, the players will have the chance to be rewarded with NFTs produced in collaboration between the two projects: Golems inspired from the X’s universe, and X’s NFTs inspired from the EMETH universe.
The winning team players have more chances to obtain these limited-edition NFTs.
And the best performing players on both sides also have more chances to be rewarded.
So you play not only to collect memories but also to collect ultra-rare NFTs.
By owning an EMETH Golems, you are able to participate in each monthly battle. So you have one chance per month to get your hands on unique NFTs. With a Golem, you can potentially obtain a lot more NFTs with an extremely high level of rarity.
As a consequence, we expect the Golem collection value to skyrocket!
By collaborating with a different famous NFT project each month, EMETH will quickly be known all around the NFT space. And a lot of people are going to want their entry ticket (a Golem) to participate in the epic battles.
And what happens when a lot of people want to buy a Golem? Well… the floor price increases!
We really want the EMETH owners to have their NFTs gain value. Hyping up the battles with otherworldly partnerships and rewarding the players is going to make everyone’s portfolio heavier.
When announcing the partnerships with other NFT projects, we also expect a lot of people to buy their NFTs in order to be part of the battle. Thus, increasing our partners’ floor too. We want to push hard for a win-win scenario for everyone.
Our goal is to boost the whole NFT space, in a healthy way, through fair battles.
The volume traded on the secondary market for all the rewarded ultra-rare NFTs made in collaboration between EMETH and their partners is split evenly.
We curate our partnerships to collaborate only with high-quality projects that can also match both background stories. We want the monthly battles to make sense for both projects. So don’t expect EMETH to partner with random animals wandering the blockchain if it doesn’t seem coherent.
We want to write a strong narrative around each specific collaboration. We cherish storytelling and we are already inspired by several projects.
