Why ICO advisers are so important?

New ICOs are tough to get off the ground up and running. There are a few reasons for that, but having the right ICO advisers can help mitigate all of them. Every kid has seen someone else ride a bike. That doesn’t mean every kid can just hop up and ride one on his own. He needs an adviser, someone to help him get familiar with the feel of the handlebars, pedals, and brakes.

One of the biggest mistakes an ICO founder can make is launching a project thinking he’s already got it all figured out.

Keeping up with the times

Even if you’ve had lots of entrepreneurial experience yourself, once you dive into a new project, you’ll hardly have time to keep up with the ever-changing crypto market. The industry is constantly in flux. In order to stay ahead of the curb (and even just to keep up) it will be invaluable to have a knowledgeable team of advisers that can monitor developments and make sure that your decisions fall in line with the constantly evolving reality.

Making an impression within the industry

Sometimes advisers can be most helpful to an ICO as a form of endorsement. You’ll have to figure out how to bring some of the biggest names of the industry on board for this to be effective, but many investors are prepared to simply take the word of a well-known adviser.

It only makes sense. You’re far more likely to see a movie starring actors you already know you like than you are to watch a film with a random cast you’ve never heard of before. The same goes for ICOs. It might be hard and expensive to get attention from this caliber of professionals, but advisers are always trying to grow their individual brand and connect themselves to successful projects, so onboarding advisers with high potential for the future might also be a wise strategic choice.

Specialized expertise

As the CEO of an ICO, you probably don’t have time to be an expert on everything. You’re the man with the master plan, but advisers can give you expertise in more specific areas. Crypto advisers, blockchain development advisers, financial advisers, legal advisers, and business advisers are just a few of the lot that can give you crucial insight into an area of your ICO that you probably hadn’t thought enough about.

What’s the lesson? Never scoff at the need for advisers. If you’re really determined, try to grab the biggest names in the business. If you can’t, having around just about anyone with experience is a huge plus.

While Emissary Guild isn’t specifically a team of advisers for your ICO in the traditional sense, our experience in the industry means we can certainly help point you in the right direction. After all, what’s a little advice between friends?
