Where to eat & drink.

  1. Água pela Barba.

Right in the centre of town it’s all about the starters, they’re absolutely incredible. Try the tuna and salmon tacos. (Recommend booking)

2. Manteigaria.

Hands down the best pastel de natas in town – watch them being made through then grab a few to have in the square opposite with a coffee from the kiosk. (We also went to Belem to the famous Pastéis de Belém but these are the true winners).

3. PARK.

A rooftop bar on the top of car park, good views & location.

4. LX Factory.

A converted industrial area with bars, restaurants, music and shops. Big fan.

5. Ponto Final.

A casual restaurant literally on the water, fresh fish and the perfect location for a long lunch. (Recommend booking)

6. Ramiro.

A fish diner which is well worth the wait. Grab a ticket & wait for a table, exceptional fish and prawns in all forms. Try going at odd times and the queue can get crazy.

7. A Cevicheria.

More expensive than the others but amazing pisco sours & Peruvian food.

We visited Lisbon in January 2017 & August 2019.
