The popularity of the solutions and protocols on the blockchain attracted a lot of people, but unfortunately also all kind of scammers, which are using lack of the regulations, easy access to all kind of information and trying to steal all kind of assets or payments form the crypto companies and investors.

The task for the community is to locate all that kinds of behaviour. A community should realise by now, that scammers are a great danger for blockchain application in our lives as reduces trust in “trusted” technology. Company making an ICO has all the challenges, that can possibly exist.

We saw everything and still every day we can see new inventions : Telegram scammers pretending to be a team members and inviting to the “special” sale, advisers, who are collecting enormous amounts and claiming to be extra super influential, but then we can see rented offices and “fake investor dinners”, wallet and smart contract intrusions, all kind of YouTube replicas of famous YouTubers. tons of marketing offers every day and when checking the traffic the site is brand new without any traffic….

Experts who are abusing their status with unreal ratings and claiming a fee to change it, other experts rating good projects with extremely low ratings just to expose their own projects, other experts, who don’t even study the papers and rate 10 projects in a row in 10 minutes,… Many formerly good rating sites lost reputation because of such behaviors of their experts, which they tolerated.

Not to mention the bug in the wallet which freezes millions of crypto value and community does not allow solution in the name of decentralization. Such things are dead breath as they are slowing down the usage growth in real lives. The only thing, which can kill Crypto is Crypto itself.

Will we lose the decentralization and basic Crypto values if we will fight scam?
Unfortunately, a lot of people think that regulation and fighting against fraud in Crypto would ruin independence and decentralization. I heard many times, that everybody is responsible for taking care of their wallets, assets, contracts… It looks that a lot of people seem to think, that someone who is a victim of the fraud, is responsible for himself. Such a manner of thinking encourages scammers and at the same time makes a big negative impact on Crypto.

I believe, that Crypto must enter our every-day life in the decentralized applications, where the technology can revolutionize processes or fields of our lives. But to achieve that, it must enter a kind of consensus. It can’t be unregulated because until then it will be at the edge of legal and it can’t be trusted technology in the trusted environment.

So we all will grow up and see the great technology merging with real life and the scams are fraud and crime, which must be prosecuted. We all can make trusted technology also trusted in real lives.

The article is an opinion of the author and it does leave space for other opinions of the community, which author is aware of and accepts them. Everybody is welcome to comment and expose different opinion and give the add-on to the better Crypto world.
