Bullies Are a Despicable Breed

Bullies live among us. They intimidate, harm, and control others with aggression and power imbalance. These half-snake, half-human individuals lack empathy and target the vulnerable.

Bullying has devastating effects on its victims — I’m the perfect example. It causes emotional and psychological distress, leading to low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and long-term trauma.

Stand up against bullying when you see it happening, and be a positive force in your community. My childhood and adult experiences would be different if my friends had stood up to my bullies when they saw I was powerless.

But now it’s too late.

I’m left with recurrent nightmares and lifelong therapy.
