Micro Conversations that Last All Day
Thank you, baristas!
I don’t know if my barista friends fully understand our micro conversations’ importance in my mental health. They may last less than a minute, but the effects last all day.
The real treat is to converse for a few minutes during their break. That is exceptional, and I cherish every minute of it.
You see, in the mornings, I don’t want to wake up, leave the house and “do” life — it is terrifying! So the baristas’ warm greetings and friendly attitude help me ease into the day.
