The Bible Provides an MRI of Our Soul

It is meant to cure, not to cause harm

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.” (Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Perfect! The Bible provides an MRI of our soul. That means God knows everything within us that needs to be fixed. He’s not here to condemn us but to rescue us! And he will use the Bible to guide us in becoming whole and mature, as he envisions us to be.

The Bible is sharp because it needs to operate in us and remove the cancer of sin. It is not meant to stab us.
