Dear supporters,
Embrace is finally making its way into the market! We’ve shipped the final devices (not Embrace Beta anymore) in their new shiny package to some of our earliest supporters. We can’t wait to hear what they think of Embrace! To make the setup swift and simple, we have produced some handy videos that will get you onboarded with Embrace in no time. We hope you’ll like it :)
We are really proud of the final product that we shipped. We know you waited a lot, but we think it’s worth it.
The packaging is glorious, we bet you have never seen a clinical device in such a cool package! Wearing Embrace (also in the shower) is seamless, you forget you even have it on your wrist. Further down the blogpost you’ll find some of the first impressions from our early users.

We produced a set of videos to make onboarding a snap! The video is the first in a series of videos that will explain how the Embrace works and will help to use our technology. In these videos you’ll see what’s inside the package, how to charge, how to wear the Embrace, and how to install the Alert app. We hope these videos will set the beginning of a fruitful companionship between the Embrace and its owner.

While we are producing new batches of Embrace and pushing the shipments forward, our veteran beta testers and new users are stress testing the device! Read some of their feedback below:
Our users know how to involuntarily stress test our poor Embrace, but don’t try this at home!
“[We want to let] you know that our embrace went through the washing machine. Good news is, it still works. Also my sons hasn’t been wearing it because of the vibration when it disconnects. I snuck it on him in his sleep the other night. It detected all 3 seizures he had.”
“My son is very excited to use his embrace. I think he feels protected by it, which in turn sets him free to live his life without limits.”
We are exhilarated that we passed the amusement park test. We know that for many of our younger supporters this is a great deal :)
“Well, I am happy to report ZERO false alerts while riding on roller coasters….not one, but 10+!!! And he didn’t have any seizures either…so that is SUPER!”
One of our little testers wasn’t so eager to have the iPhone with her during the day, but luckily there are great teachers out there:
“Her teacher had the brilliant idea to get a running belt — it’s basically a very thin piece of elastic that has a stretchy “wallet” in it that can hold the phone. That way it’s on her person so she doesn’t have to be responsible for keeping track of it. The bonus is it can even be under her shirt so no one will see it. Fingers crossed!”

The shipments for September are still scheduled as expected
We’ll continue shipping the devices to our early supporters in the coming weeks. However, we won’t be able to ship the Embrace to the customers who haven’t created their Empatica Accounts yet. We’ve reached out a few times to the customers without the Empatica Account reminding them to set it up. If you still haven’t had the chance to set up your Empatica Account, please do so as soon as possible. To learn more, please refer to our support site guides.
We won’t be able to ship the Embrace to you if you do not have an Empatica Account or if your account is not complete and up to date.
Already created your Empatica Account? To see your shipping date, simply just check the status of your order in your Orders Page (https://myembrace.empatica.com/orders).
You will receive an email once your package is ready to be shipped.
