Which phone contract can cope with occasional time travel without incurring roaming charges?

Choosing a phone contract is tough. Will my smart phone have enough data for day-to-day use? Will the price plan be realistic given my income? Will network service be impeded by the walls of the TARDIS?

Our Time Lite package is for the occasional time-hop to most major eras, including (but not limited to) Victorian times, The Ice Age and The Great Depression. You get unlimited calls, a brand-new handset plus 12GB data which can be used at home, abroad or in Classical Antiquity.

If you’re worried about extra charges on top of your monthly tariff then it’s possible to cap your usage — that way, when you have used all your data, your phone will no longer access the internet and will automatically stop working in the past, present or future. However, if you cap your usage in the present but travel back to a time before you used your data you will still have data until you have used it. In this instance, it will impact on your data when you travel back to the present and you may incur charges.

If cost is a real factor please be advised we often have sales. Rather than waiting to take advantage of a sale price, why not just hop in time to when we last had one?

If you spend a lot of time on Facebook, stream videos or spend long periods in the Upper Palaeolithic or Mesolithic parts of the Stone Age, you might wish to consider our Time Intensive package. It’s the most flexible package for the least flexible of times.
