1 year, 10 countries

One year ago we did the first blockchain driven clean-up in Hoddevik together with Nordic Ocean Watch

This week Empower has been part of several clean-ups in Norway & Sweden, where all the awarded tokens have been donated forward to fund clean-ups in other countries!

Together with Framtiden i våre hender in Oslo, Håll Sverige Rent in Strömstad and Stockholm and with Empower Clean City and partners in Oslo, a total of 0.5 tons has been collected and will then again lead to about 1 ton of plastic waste being collected in Norway, Sweden, Laos, Nepal, India and elsewhere 🤩🌏♻️

Not least! After starting in Hoddevik, Norway 1 year ago, this weeks clean-ups in Sweden represents clean-ups in 10 (!!!!!!!!!!) countries in about a year! This makes us super proud and worth a real celebration!! 🥳😍

Looking ahead, it doesn’t seem like we can stop here either, and our goals is to be in 20+ countries by the year end, so when (and where!) do you think that can be achieved?
